(London 1965) Steve Marriott (guitar/vocals), Ronnie Lane (bass/vocals) Jimmy Winston (organ) and Kenny Jones (drums). Later Ian MacLagen (organ). Hugely influential to this day, the Small Faces were the ultimate mod band of the mid sixties. Sharp dressers, always moving forward with attitude and humour. One hit after another from "Watcha Gonna Do About It" to "The Universal" in 1968. Collapsed after the loss of Steve Marriott to "Humble Pie". Became the Faces, with Ron Wood and Rod Stewart.
[Rare TV-Performance by The Small Faces and P.P. Arnold broadcast 02.March 1968 Boutton Rouge (Belgium TV)! For all young and old mods who loves this band...]

THE SONICS
(Tacoma, Washington) Gerry Roslie (organ, piano, lead vocals),Andy Parypa (bass),Larry Parypa ( lead guitar, vocals), Rob Lind (saxophone, vocals, harmonica) and Bob Bennett (drums). Possibly the best garage beat band of the 60's. Recorded "Here Are The Sonics" in 1965 on a two-track tape recorder, with only one drum pick up. They also stripped the sound proofing from the studio walls to giver a "liver" sound. "Here Are The Sonics" was a real classic. The Sonics switched to Jerden Records in 1966 and it was downhill from there. They split in 1968, re-uniting briefly in 1972. Have refused to reform ever since.
